Menurut
Ng denied rumours that he was drunk when the accident happened.
He claimed that Mohd Bakri rammed his rear bumper after his car hit a road divider while making a U-turn.
Bernama today reported that Ng, who was driving a Nissan X-Trail SUV, hit Mohd Bakri, 23, who was riding a motorcycle at a traffic light junction.
It also quoted Khalid as saying that there were recommendations that Ng be charged for negligence.
Tidak cukup itu, orang Melayu semua boleh baca apa bangsa Cina yang membaca Malaysiakini bagi komen:

An accident is an accident. I wonder how many drivers are charged for accidents and highlighted. Just coz this adun went against Toyo, it becomes a very big issue for the the whole world to know. Come on Polis pls do something for the rakyat to stay and walk in peace .

Toyol behind the scene ?

This sounds like an ordinary road accident being made into an extraordinary one simply because a DAP adun is involved. That is why we cannot even be sure of who had hit whom, as the Bernama report directly contradicts Mr Ng's statement. The question of whom to believe (ie Mr Ng or Bernama is a foregone conclusion for me). Plus the infamous Khalid Abu Bakar is involved. What am I supposed to think?

Dear Liew Chee Kong, with Chinese like you in Malaysia, we don't need an opposition. Just like Lee Kuan Yew had said, the Malaysian Chinese are a compliant lot. What would have happened if the motor-cycle rider had been chinese and the car driver had been an UMNO big wig? I am sure the MCA and the Gerakan will be fighting hard to defend their UMNO master as being 'innocent'. Come on Liew, I am sure you can do better than that! Atleast get as many youths as possible who are above 21 to register as voters, by doing that you would have helped in a big way instead of being afraid of Khir Toyo!

Disqualify him as Sekinchan ADUN and lets see if BN will get even less votes than the last time? I bet the BN candidate will even lose his deposit.

if he is guilty, please place the full weight of the law on him. please note however that the motorcyclist hit his rear bumper. Note: Rear Bumper. In Malaysia, 99% of the time the one who hit the rear is always the wrong party. Afterall, the one at the rear have to watch the front vehicle and not tailgate. ng may be guilty of knocking the road divider but the motorcyclist is also guilty of not following ng's car at a safe distance. and for not buckling up the helmet, the motorcyclist is also endangering himself. i expect the full weight of the law be placed on his head.

If it is opposition the police use Formula 1 car,if BN they use bicycle ta sampai pun nevermind lah. The whole Malaysians are watching the attitude of the Police and the MACC's action. We are in the 21st centuary and not l969.Who is going to save Malaysia only God knows.

Ng, if you dare to take on the mighty khir toyo, you'd better be spotless cos they will come down hard on you. You know that, don't you?

Such accidents are so common that they are not news worthy. The quilty one will be charged....Why all the hullaballoo ?
by kgen - 2 days ago
I'm sure the A-G is dying to charge another PR adun and disqualify him from his post. One rep down and one step closer to the state govt. But don't get your hopes up BN. If there is a by-election from this accident do you think BN can win? The people know when an injustice has been committed.

Political persecution in Malaysia!
by ghkok - 2 days ago
I CHOOSE to believe that, somehow, out there, there is someone planning the whole thing. I CHOOSE to believe that it has nothing to do with a traffic accident. I CHOOSE to believe that it is politically-motivated. I CHOOSE to believe somehow it has got something to do with a guy living in a RM24 mil house.

One wonders why police chief has to give statement on this one. There are so many accidents everyday and everywhere. One also wonders why the UMNO leaders visited the victim and pledged to provide help to pursue the legal claim. YB Ng did not run away. He even gave his call card to the parents. So much politics are involved. One also wonders why the mainstream papers did not report other pledges by UMNO leaders for other accident victims. Maybe there is no publicity stunts involved. I can't imagine PKR, DAP and PAS would clamour for such stunts if a BN person is the driver. Very shameful double standard for UMNO.

The Star reported YB Ng as saying that the motorcyclist did not buckle up his helmet and it fell off from him during the accident. It also reported that had he buckled up, his injury would have been minimized. To the law fraternity this may mean that there is a contributory negligence. There is no need to switch place as both parties also suffered in one way or another. I lost my sister in law in a car accident because she did not buckle up. The husband, who was the driver came out of it with minor scratches because he had his seat belt fastened. I hope the government spent a bit more on emphasizing buckled-up helmet practice.

Wah...the AG so free to look into small issues when big cases investigated by MACC still pending??? This is Malaysia.
by lucia - 2 days ago
wah!! so fast the police complete the probe. not talking about this case but talking in general, accidents are what it is - accidents. sometimes it can't be help - they are accidents, not done on purpose. (yes i did experience family involved in accident - i no blame both sides - it was an accident after all). well if ng was really reckless that caused the accident, yes he deserved to be charged but i just hope that the investigation was done in a fair manner.

MP or no MP, Opposition or non, he (Suee Lim) has to answer for what he did. Hur hur hur, not serious indeed.
by rocky - 2 days ago
haha...sure they will go after him, the AG will work double hard. But what happen to all the MACC case that is stuck at the AG table, why no action. Not serious ka.
by Alinda binti Abdul aziz - 2 days ago
Switch places and see if anyone from your family can say that it was not a serious accident!
